Roland and Nina Hartley House, 2320 Rucker Avenue
National Register
Industrialist and governor of Washington State, Roland H. Hartley built the mansion most closely associated with his life in Everett in 1911. He began his political career by becoming mayor. The mansion has been restored, maintained and is used by Everett Neurological Associates.
The original electro-mechanical turntable in the carriage house still works today. The Hartleys used to drive their car into the garage and spin it 180 degrees to be ready to drive out forward instead on backing out into the street.
