117. Butler-Jackson House, 1703 Grand Ave

Butler-Jackson House, 1703 Grand Avenue (1911)   This magnificent edifice was designed in Colonial Revival style with Federal features by AF Heide for prominent Everett banker William C. Butler. Cadillac dealer Charles Allen was an owner, as was banker William Carpenter, while the widow of Senator Henry M Jackson occupies this corner in the present day.  It was during the US senator’s residence that the rear service wing was remodeled into a modern kitchen, family room and garage.
