Culmback Building, 3013 Colby Avenue (1924)
Everett Register
A well-preserved representative of the 1920s building boom in Everett, the Culmback Building displays the buff brick and cream-colored glazed terra cotta of many of its contemporaries. Seattle architect Andrew Willatsen, who once worked with Frank Lloyd Wright, designed this restrained example for client Chris Culmback, whose cigar and candy business had been an Everett institution since 1892.
